Man gets bail for possession of crystal meth

A 31-year-old taxi driver was on Wednesday released on $50,000 bail by City Magistrate Judy Latchman for the possession of crystal meth.
Zayne Tito Taylor of Republic Road, New Amsterdam Berbice, denied that on August 26, 2017 at Hunter and Sussex Street, Albouystown, he had 6 grams of crystal meth.

According to the facts, on the day in question, the accused was in his taxi with a female in the passenger seat at Hunter and Sussex Street when police intercepted the motorcar.
Taylor was searched and the drugs were found under his cap which he had on his head at the time with six transparent zip-lock packets. The magistrate released Taylor on $50,000 bail and adjourned the matter until September 13.

Crystal meth is short for crystal methamphetamine. It is just one form of the drug methamphetamine. Methamphetamine is an illegal drug in the same class as cocaine and other powerful street drugs. Methamphetamine is a white crystalline drug that people take by snorting it (inhaling through the nose), smoking it or injecting it with a needle.

Some even take it orally, but all develop a strong desire to continue using it because the drug creates a false sense of happiness and well-being—a rush (strong feeling) of confidence, hyperactiveness and energy.
