Editor’s Note

As the name suggests, the Pepperpot Magazine is often times home to a mixture of stories for a variety of readers.

This week, you will find a particularly diverse mix in the stories that we have sought to tell. We focus on entertainment, and highlight and celebrate the work of some artists in gospel, poetry and literature. We also focus on the transformation of cinemas in Guyana, as Guyanese bid farewell to the historic Astor Cinema and continue to enjoy the state of the art theatres that have adequately filled the space of the cinemas of yore.

Then there are the features which highlight the inspiring stories of persons right here in our homeland who are either battling with the everyday struggles of life, while trying to make an honest dollar, or who, on the other hand are trying to make a difference by helping those in need. We hope that you enjoy your Sunday reading, as much as we have enjoyed putting these stories together.
