SENIOR Counsel Stanley Moore, a retired Caribbean judge and former Guyana Home Affairs Minister recently celebrated his 82nd birthday in fine style. It was a memorial occasion hosted by his wife Cheryl Pickering-Moore, former Guyana Defence Force officer and airline pilot.

The event was held at the South Ruimveldt residence of Percy Boyce, popular former customs broker and among those attending were President of the Caribbean Court of Justice (CCJ), the Honourable Justice Sir Dennis Byron; Minister within the Ministry of Social Protection, Keith Scott and Senior Counsel Rex McKay and Neil Boston.

Other attendees at the milestone event were Magistrate Alex Moore, son of the Moores; former Prime Minister Hamilton Green, former minister Richard Van-West Charles and his wife Roxanne; Dr. Mark Kirton and Colonel Fabian Liverpool (Guyana Defence Force).
