Dear Editor,
MY heart jumped for joy when I read the news that a state-of-the-art pedestrian crossing will be built at Diamond, East Bank.
The crossing at this junction is one of the most dangerous in Guyana and an overhead bridge is just the right thing to do to save limbs and lives.
I give praise to all those who planned this project, and I look forward to the other overhead passes at Houston, Eccles and Peter’s Hall. I would also like to see such a crossing at the junction of Sheriff Street and the East Coast Highway.
