PRESIDENT David Granger and a delegation from Guyana have landed in Port-au- Prince to attend the inauguration ceremony of the President-elect of the Republic of Haiti, Mr Jocelerme Privert.The President, who is accompanied by Vice-President and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr Carl Greenidge and Director-General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ms Audrey Waddell, among others, is attending in his capacity not only as Head of State of Guyana, but also as Chairman of the Caribbean Community (CARICOM).
In addition to the main inauguration ceremony, President Granger will also be attending several other activities organised to mark the occasion, including a dinner hosted by President-elect, Mr Jocelerme Privert.
