Armageddon Clash 2017 –for National Gymnasium tomorrow

EMPIRE Media Inc. is once again set to host one of the biggest clashes on local shores with a lineup of Guyana’s best DJs and Selectors tomorrow at the National Gymnasium. The event, dubbed Armageddon will see five DJs compete for $500,000, a trophy and bragging rights.
In a press release, the entertainment company said that the event promises to be a night of “musical slaughtering” when the DJs and Selectors meet head to head.
“It is no secret that the entertainment/dancehall industry has been dying for this sort of event, and we proved that with the large attendance at the Art of War DJ Competition,” the release said.

REIGNITE THE FIRE
Armageddon will serve to further reignite the fire of this art form in Guyana, with the hope of including regionally and internationally acclaimed sound systems and DJs in the near future. There will be four rounds in the competition:
ROUND 1: Good over Evil: God Bless round (10 minutes)
ROUND 2: Release the Beast: Anything goes (10 minutes)
ROUND 3: Crossing over: Hip Hop/Rap (10 minutes)
ROUND 4: Final Round: Singer Artiste/Vocal Artiste only
The Armageddon sound clash will be judged by the audience, who will be asked to vote by a show of hands.
Tickets for the event are $1,500, and are available at: Nigel’s Supermarket Depot, White Castle Fish Shop, and Korner Kick Restaurant and Bar.
Gate opens at 18:00hrs, and the event starts at 21:00hrs sharp.
