SIX teams will compete against one another in the annual Roy Fredericks Cup, billed for this Sunday at the Blairmont Estate ground. The defending champions, home team Blairmont Blazers, will face a strong challenge from D’Edward Sports Club, Young Warriors, Cotton Tree Die Hard, Metamorza CC (WBD) and Blairmont Under-19 – the other teams set to participate in the one-day tournament.
Apart from the Roy Fredericks Cup tournament, the club has planned a complete day of sports.
The day’s activity will see teams compete in 10/10 cricket, table tennis, volleyball, football and dominoes competitions.
The table tennis competition will be played in the Under-15, Under-19 and Open categories. The volleyball will be a four-a-side tournament, while the football will be played with five players per team on short goal format.
