FINDING a truly unique lip shade or eyeshadow is well-nigh an impossible task these days.

As everyone would have known by now, they’re so many beauty brands around, that every skin colour under the sun has at least one perfect match, if not more.

So when we’re drawn to a new cosmetics launch in Guyana, it usually has more to do with packaging and formulation than hue.

However, that’s not the case for once, thanks to ‘Malani Cosmetics’, which was officially launched on Saturday at the Palm Court by local distributors, Shoe Heaven.

‘Milani’ is a popular brand of cosmetics designed for women of all races, ages and income levels, due to the fact that no two colours are the same, which is nothing short of amazing when one considers the range of the collection.

At the launch, make-up lovers were treated to professional makeovers by a local makeup artist, along with a mini fashion show with models strutting the runway with their faces neatly made up.

According to a Shoe Heaven representative, the cosmetics brand will be like a new breath of fresh air, as well as “gorgeous to the eyes, and friendly to your pocket.”

‘Milani’ comes in products for the eyes, lips, face, skin-care, nails and tools, and are available at Shoe Heaven stores across Georgetown, including at their Giftland Mall location.

Popular ‘Milani’ lip products include: ‘color statement’ lipstick, and ‘brilliant shine’ lipgloss. Top-selling eye products include ‘runway eyes’ eyeshadow, ‘shadow eyez’ eye-shadow pencils, and ‘grandissimo lashes’ mascara.

‘Smooth Finish’ cream-to-powder makeup, ‘Bronzer XL’ and ‘TANtastic face and body bronzer’ are among popular face products, while ‘high speed, fast-dry nail polish’ is one of the many nail products available.
