Wins for Camp Street All-Stars, Festival City Warriors and Sparta Boss

IT was an exciting night for Guinness Greatest in the Street Football when 8 games were played on Saturday night.
In the first game of the night Camp Street All-Stars defeated Stevedore 4-3 on sudden death kicks after the game finished 0-0 at the end of regulation time.
Festival City Warriors defeated Up Like 2-1 despite a late game surge by the Up Like 7 side. Festival City looked like they would run away with it when Daniel Favourite and Eon Alleyne netted in the 7th and 15th.

However,when Dwayne Lowe netted in the 25th minute for the Up Like side it took resolve from the Festival City Warriors to hold out to the end.
The next three matches went down to penalty kicks. North Ruimveldt defeated West Back Road 3-1 on penalties while North East La Penitence took out Leopold Street 3-2 in penalties as well. Back Circle also won 2-1 on penalty kicks when their game against Tucville finished 0-0 in regulation time.

The Broad Street Bullies defeated Bent Street 2-1 behind goals from Lennox Cort and Jimmy Gravesande in the 2nd and 22nd minutes. Bent Street’s only goal happened in the 20th minute when the Bullies scored an own goal.
Meanwhile, Sparta Boss defeated Channel 9 Warriors 1-0 when Dennis Edwards scored in the 9th minute. Queen Street Tiger Bay won 2-1 on penalty kicks against Albouystown A.
Games continue tomorrow from 19:00hrs.
