Event starts at 20:00hrs. Tickets cost $1,000.
The Rotaract Club of the University of Guyana invites you to ‘A Night of Spoken Word’ at the Education Lecture Theatre (ELT), University of Guyana Turkeyen Campus at 18:00hrs. The event is being hosted under the theme “Serving Humanity”. Participants are expected to perform a piece about worldwide issues with prizes being given to the best performances. This event is open to the public. If you would like to register as a participant please feel free to contact International Service Director Kalesh on 653-0006 to sign up.

It’s finally here! Guyana Fashion Week 7 will be launched and will run until November 13 at the Pegasus Hotel. According to its website: “Guyana Fashion Week (GFW) has become a staple on the biennial calendar, so it would serve your national as well as regional interests, wholeheartedly, in building creative entrepreneurship alliances as well as in boosting progressive youth empowerment initiatives”. So come and have your fill of fashion from well-known and upcoming designers as well as they showcase their best work on the runway! Tickets cost $3,000, VIP $4,000.
