THE post-mortem conducted on the body of 41-year-old Prakash Mahipaul, who was discovered at the Hague, West Coast Demerara (WCD) seawall on Thursday morning, revealed that he died of blunt trauma to the head.
His wife was taken into custody but was subsequently released. Mahipaul’s body was discovered around 11:30 hrs by fishermen who notified the police.
Residents had noted that Mahipaul’s body bore marks of violence when he was found on the seashore.
