Police have recovered a cache of guns and ammunition during an operation in the Cuyuni River area last week Friday.In a statement police said that on Friday last ranks responding to a report of threats, where a firearm was allegedly used, went to a location at Black Water, Cuyuni River.
The suspect was not found but a search in the surrounding area unearthed three single barrel shotguns, one 9MM pistol, one .38 revolver and eighteen rounds of live ammunition.
Investigations are continuing, the police release stated.
