A NORTH Ruimveldt man was yesterday placed on $75,000 bail by a city court after making an appearance on a wounding charge.The accused, Orin Wilson (41) of Cornelius Avenue, North Ruimveldt, was read the charge stating that on December 3, 2015 at his home, he unlawfully and maliciously wounded Carver Profit.
Wilson denied the allegation.
Prosecutor Deniro Jones did not object to bail being granted and indicated to the court that both men lived in the same rented apartment, but stayed in separate rooms. The prosecutor did not reveal any further facts.
The matter was adjourned to April 12 by Chief Magistrate Ann McLennan.
