Guyanese, Brazilian arrested for stealing horses

Three men have been arrested for allegedly stealing a number of horses from a businessman in Central Rupununi.

According to a police report, at about 12:00 hrs on Tuesday February 02, acting on information received, police ranks from the Lethem Police Station went to Manari, Central Rupununi, where they arrested two Guyanese and a Brazilian, in whose possession they found 15 horses that had been stolen from the ranch of a businessman at Manari.

The police noted that the horses were being taken to Brazil. The three rustlers have been arrested and are in police custody assisting with the investigations.
