Ming’s Mygale F4 arrives in Guyana

ONE Of Calvin Ming’s Mygale F4 cars yesterday afternoon arrived in Guyana ahead of its proposed demonstration run during the final leg of the Seaboard Caribbean Motor Racing Championships (CMRC) at the South Dakota Circuit on November 15.The younger Ming, who is expected in the country today, had the car shipped from the United States in an attempt to showcase what he plans to do over the next year and Chronicle Sport took a sneak peak of the 1600cc beast, which was at the Ming’s Products and Services office in Georgetown.
Just recently, Ming narrowly missed the podium at the launching of the Inaugural NACAM (Norteamérica,Centroamérica, Caribe y Norte de Sudamérica) Championships In Mexico, finishing fourth.
His car is the Mygale F4, the company’s newest single-seater carbon fibre monocoque, produced in collaboration with companies from the Pole Performance Nevers Magny -Cours and approved by the FIA in 2014.
This ‘low cost’ race car intended for young drivers all over the world (under the aegis of the National Federations) is equipped with the latest FIA 2014 safety specifications and it can fit several engines from different countries.
