Guyana Independence T20 Cup..BK International sponsors East Coast Cricket Board Jaguars

AS the date approaches for the much anticipated Guyana Independence Twenty20 tourney in Berbice, Berbicians have already begun reserving the day to be at the Albion Sports Complex come May 26, to witness the biggest and most exciting T20 tournament to ever hit the county.

And yesterday BK International announced they will be sponsoring the East Coast Jaguars, one of the four teams in the competition The others are Universal DVD Berbice Titans, Karibee Rice Tigers, and East Coast Demerara Raiders who will battle for over $1M in cash and prizes.
The BK International/East Coast Jaguars will be captained by national cricketer Zaheer Mohamed and the vice-captain will be Krishna Deosarran. The manager is Raymond Barton and coach is Latchman Yadram.
The squad reads: Rajendra Chandrika,  Brian Sattaur, Krishna Deosarran (vice-captain)  Somnauth Bharrat (wkp.) Zaheer Mohamed (captain),  Vishnu Ramjit, Christopher Pattadin, Clive Andries, Surujpaul Deosarran, Emran Khan, Videsh Lall Rohit Dutchin, Ryan Musa and  Anthony Ifill.
Patrons will have an opportunity to win fabulous gate prizes including cell phones, mp3 players, hampers, among other tokens from various companies will be distributed free.
The games will commence at 10:30hrs with two matches, followed by a cultural ceremony. In the evening, the atmosphere will be transformed with the lighting up of big screen projectors. There will be cheer leaders and the final will be played under massive floodlights.
Fireworks and musical entertainment will be provided Local artistes will rock the night away with the rhythms of Crown Vibes International Sound Systems.
Admission to the venue is $500 for adults. Gates open at 09:00hrs. Tickets will be sold only at selected venues to be named and patrons are urged to grab them early. Other sponsors on board are Universal DVD, Karibee Rice, Sentinel Security, Metro Office and Computer Supplies.
