Ignore Royston King, Easter spots along seawall are for sale

PLEASE be advised that a number of unauthorised releases have been made by Mr Royston King, Public Relations Officer, that the sale of spots on Easter Monday has been suspended.

These reports are untrue and misleading. The Council at its statutory meeting held on Monday March 25, 2013 decided that the areas where boulders have been placed on the seawall will not be sold. However, the sale of spots continues in all other areas that are not affected by these obstructions.
You are therefore asked to immediately retract those malicious releases and advise members of the public that the sale of spots on the seawall between the Band Stand and opposite the road leading to the University of Guyana, continues to be sold from the office of the Town Clerk of Georgetown up to Saturday March 30.
Please be further advised that all releases must be cleared with the Town Clerk (ag.) for accuracy and to avoid liabilities.
