CAROL Lynch, 52, of Lot 47 Gordon Street, Kitty, Georgetown appeared in court yesterday charged with embezzlement by clerk or servant.
Before Georgetown Magistrate Hazel Octive-Hamilton, it was alleged that, within the period March 4 to April 30, the accused stole $2,450,000 from Greens Stone Gold Limited while she was employed with the company.
Defence Counsel Keavon Bess made a successful application for bail, and Lynch was granted $350,000 bail until October 5.
