SHABANA Juman, called Natasha, 18, of Lot 26 North East Grove, East Bank Demerara, was yesterday charged with larceny from dwelling house.
Appearing before Georgetown Magistrate Hazel Octive-Hamilton, it was alleged that between September 2011 and February 2012, she stole G$2M and US$10,000 from her grandfather, Jairam Narine.
The accused was not required to plead to the indictable charge, and on an application by Defence Counsel Adrian Thompson, she was granted $150,000 bail until October 5.
