– Konshens and Alaine here for Next Level/Pulse ENT. Old Year’s Night party
Jamaican reggae/dancehall artistes Alaine and Konshens will headline tonight’s Old Year’s Night party at the Princess Hotel and Casino, dubbed ‘Party like there’s no tomorrow’ under the auspices of Next Level and Pulse Entertainment companies.
The groups are well known for their precise planning and execution of some of the biggest parties in Guyana, and have teamed up with the management of the Princess Hotel for an event to close off 2011.
“We met with manager/CEO of the hotel and he told us that he’s actually a fan of Konshens” said Yannik Charles, Co-Director of the Next Level Entertainment, adding “we took the opportunity to get him since he was already in Guyana and well, Alaine is like family to us, so she too is excited about tonight and I must say it’s going to be a good show”.
The 26 year-old Konshens, who calls Guyana his second home, said that he feels right at home, even though he’s away from his family in Jamaica. He has promised another sensational performance to Guyanese patrons.
“This is my second home and when I come here no matter how many times, I’m always very well received, so that’s why I always give my best  performance.”
The event tonight starts at 8:00 pm with a break at 12:00 am to usher in the New Year 2012 after which the concert with Alaine and Konshens will take centre stage.
