Accused says gun went off accidently
A Demerara Assize jury, trying 17-year old Travis Rudder for the murder of his 14-year old girlfriend, Donnis King, heard yesterday that the girl was shot by her lover during an argument.

The jury was also told that the girl died in hospital some time after she was shot. The wound had turned septic.
And that the accused had been saying that his .38 revolver went off accidentally on March 23, 2007, shooting the girl in the abdomen. She died on May 23, 2007.
The young woman was buried on June 2, 2007, at the Le Repentir Cemetery.
