Boy, 10, latest road fatality

A TEN-YEAR-OLD boy became the latest road fatality after he was struck off his bicycle along Agriculture Road, Triumph, last Sunday.
Police reported that Richard Ramballie, of Good Hope, also on East Coast Demerara, was cycling at about 18:50hrs when he was hit by a minibus.
He was taken to Georgetown Public Hospital (GPH) where he was admitted but died on Monday, November 28.
The driver of the minibus was tested with a breathalyser, at the time of the accident, when he was found to have consumed above the legal limit of alcohol, police said, adding that he is in custody assisting with the investigations.
