A Partnership for National Unity (APNU) has communicated to the Chairman of the Guyana Elections Commission, Dr. Steve Surujbally, its concern that the PPP/C is proclaiming on Mr. Donald Ramotar’s Facebook Page that the PPP/C has won the elections.
APNU, in a statement, said it expects the Guyana Elections Commission to address this violation of their expressed wish that no party or organization announce election results before the Commission makes public the official count.
APNU said it views the proclamation of victory by the PPP/C as reckless and an incitement to public disorder.
