AS WE BID FAREWELL TO THIS DELICIOUS MONTH FILLED WITH BLESSINGS, HOPE, MATERIAL AND SPIRITUAL PROSPERITIES, the Muslims of the world, who imbibed wisdom, knowledge, and spiritual power, while doing away with food, water, and all sorts normal approved (hallal) joys, satisfaction and entertainment, is now sad, so much that he cries because the month has ended, the month which helps to raise man to the Glory of the Kingdom of the One True God of Humanity. The Muslim experienced intense heat in the atmosphere, then the most intense heat in the stomach due to hunger and starvation, voluntarily, because he chose to, as he could have refused, but adhered to the command of his Lord of the Worlds.  So he understands having fully experienced starvation, and hence, empathizes with those who could be hungry, the unfortunate; the one in poverty.  He felt that blaze of the raging fire in the stomach, so he is more humane, kinder, and more charitable.  But he also did without water, so his throat while being parched, recited the Holy Quran, and honoured his Lord, and prayed for his deceased ancestors, the living and all mankind, even the universe.  He did ZIKR (Remembrance of Allah), while his throat burned and wanted it quenched.  But he did without that life-giving water and other comforts.  Then he prayed, in the Islamic form, a kind of physical exercise, more than ever, so his muscles and bones ached, but he prayed more and more, hundreds of times per day in that Holy Prescribed Exercise.  WHY?  Because it is the command of the lord!

So he is no longer an ordinary man who starved, but ONE who is empowered, blessed, filled with success, with His Lord  being pleased with him.  He has attracted the positive forces and energies of the universe, and has become a Saintly Being, with the capacity to conduct healing sessions with the ills of humanity.  Having fasted as the Prophets of Allah did, he, the Muslim become a successor of the Blessings of the Prophets, and he has the capacity to be an Example of Society and the World.  He becomes a Saintly Being.  He can change the world to a better one if he wants, and Man into a better Man, by being an Example……… a Saint.

And as one who has gone to the Institutes of Higher Learning, it is time to impress his Lord with Greater Devotion and Service, Teach and help others, so he, the faster achieves his coveted goal:  “TAQWA!!!.”  But what is Taqwa?  It is the divine promise of Allah that his Faster, and Blessed Soul who complied, gets closer to Him, the Lord of the World.  He the faster gets God-Centeredness; he gets God-Closeness; he gets magnetized and absorbed with the Super-Soul, Man’s Cherisher, Nourisher, His Sustainer…Allah, Lord of the Worlds.  And He is promised Paradise.
