POLICE  ranks conducting a drug eradication operation at Haimakabra, in the North West District (NWD) on Friday, unearthed a field containing approximately 100 two-feet high marijuana (cannabis sativa) plants.
The ranks also discovered an abandoned camp with about 1,750 grams of dried marijuana and nine spent cartridges.
While no arrests were made, the ranks have destroyed the marijuana.
