18-year-old fingered in three armed robberies

AN 18-year-old, who is presently on remand at the Camp Street jail in connection with a recent armed robbery in Kitty, was yesterday implicated  in two murders in Linden.
According to a police report , during an identification parade yesterday, the teenager was  identified as the suspect in the January 3, 2011  armed robbery committed on businessman Albert Joseph called ‘Bolo’ at his Sunflower Street, Wismar  establishment.

Joseph was fatally shot during the attack.
The teen was also identified as a suspect in the armed robbery committed on the A & R Cosmetics and General Store at Dageraad Avenue, in Linden, on January 07, 2011, during which Angelique Temal and sales clerk, Nigel Muss were relieved of jewellery and cash.
The firearm the suspect used in the Kitty robbery has been recovered, the police say.
