Theft is theft, even if it is books

FREDDIE Kissoon’s attack on Henry Jeffery is unwarranted because Jeffery simply stated the obvious – theft is theft. Kissoon is trying to hide behind his age but with every article on the subject he drops his age when he stole the books. Some time ago he pleaded for forgiveness because he said he was only 17. Now he says that he was only sixteen. Another way of stating this though, is that the man performed his first act of theft from as early as sixteen. He should clarify if he has stolen other books and other property. A man by the name of Pedro wrote an article last year stating that Freddie Kissoon wore a Big Coat all year in Toronto, even when it was very hot. Pedro stated that apparently Kissoon ‘liberated’ some books from a store owned by some African booksellers. That store is called Third World Bookstore. Pedro also stated that Freddie Kissoon was in the habit of using letter heads of faculty members to send away for free books without the knowledge of the professors.
Freddie Kissoon should let people know why he wore this Big Coat all year. He should also respond to Pedro because Perdo said that he was a friend of Freddie Kissoon.
The attack on Dr. Henry Jeffery could be for the simple reason that Jeffery does have a doctorate and Freddie never finished his. The exams must have been too hard for poor Freddie. He abandoned his doctorate and was hired by some WPA people at UG who have protected him for decades because he is a poor teacher and has never written any real academic works. Freddie also needs to clarify if his activities were limited to books or if he took a liking for a wider variety of products. How about pens, CDs, DVDs?
If Pedro sees this letter I hope he can shed some further light on the Third World Bookstore theft and other related activities. Pedro can do a good public service by naming the professors whose letter heads were stolen.
People should know that if Freddie Kissoon was living in the US and caught stealing he would have been charged with a felony and would have gone to jail.
