Unacceptable delay in Sharma molestation case

“Witness in Sharma case escapes again “KN dated Tuesday September 28-10.
Tales of sexual harassment by ranks of the Guyana Police Force have tainted the noble intention of the Ministry of Human Services with regards to the witnesses involved in the sexual assault case against embattled television station owner, Chandra Narine Sharma.

It sounds to many that the witness are more confined to a so called jail instead of the alleged perpetrator.
Those in high authority must be reminded that these are very young children and must not be locked down for they did not commit any crimes.
If Sharma continues to get heart attacks then put him in a wheel chair or stretcher and try him in order to get justice for the sake of these children involved.
Tales of sexual harassment by police officers is nothing new to Guyanese.
Have we forgotten what happened to the young girl that was sentenced by a magistrate to NOC for being in love with a well known businessman?
Are those in authority keeping these kids in lock down only to hear they are being raped again by someone or some in authority?
As far as many people are concerned this case should have been tried a long time ago be it guilt or innocent to let the children have their lives back.
