Even donkeys free today!
Young Bluetoothers does can’t believe de plenty freedom that dem gat here. Dem can’t e-magine life without it. Stories ‘bout life when de Coconut Tree party was abusing de state and everybody else, does bring about interesting questions. Questions like, “how yuh’all use to travel without roads and vehicles?”, “how yuh’all use to contact each other without phones and internet?”, “how was life possible without TV”.

Now-a-days, all dem things is normal. People buying freely. Dem changing phones and cars like socks. Some even throwing away de socks rather than washing it. Dem frighten it stink-up de washing machine which, long ago, was de mother or sister. Now is a real machine saving time fuh watch soaps; “Chotti Bahu” and “Y & R” and suh! Things move from washing with soap to watching soap. Times change; people move.

Plenty move from donkey cart to car also. De problem is yuh can’t tek de donkey out o’ some o’ dem. Yuh actually gat some “donkeys” driving cars. Fancy ones too. Not de donkeys; de cars! Some o’ these “mobile donkeys” don’t hear dem own stories even though dem ears long enough. Some involve in some dutty business that mek Master Willy in de mud look “clean”.

Yet dem does “parade” like decent “hee-hawers” because dem friends own newspapers. De “donkeys” now “literate”! So if yuh see Glenn and Anand hollering, “Gwan Chris! Gwan Fred! Gwan Mark!, don’t be alarmed at such gross sight. Is just “donkeys” pushing “donkeys”. Yet de same set would complain that plenty stray animals pun de road. Freedom, eh? Freedom to complain! Freedom to stay stuck in de past! Hmmm!
