No one criminally concerned with accident victim’s death

Inquest finds…
AN INQUEST into the death of Harrichand Ramnarine has found that no one was criminally concerned with his demise.
The verdict was by a three-member jury who sat with Coroner Omeyena Hamilton, at New Amsterdam Court in Berbice.
The jurors, after deliberating for about 30 minutes, concluded that the 26 years old employee of Parkway Hotel, in New Amsterdam, died January 14, 2006, on Palmyra Public Road, as a result of an accident.
Police Inspector Satrohan Dayaram led evidence that, at about 22:20 h that night, Ramnarine, of Lot 60 Albion, Corentyne, was behind the wheel of motor car HB 1343 when  it collided with HA 6547.
Following the collision, the injured Ramnarine was taken to New Amsterdam Hospital, where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
A tendered autopsy report revealed that his death was due to multiple injuries.
