She was inconsolable yesterday, and erupted in loud sobs as relatives tried to comfort her.
At Denny’s house last night, his Mom, Rachel Denny, was too distraught to speak, while other relatives said that the policeman arrived home on Friday to spend time with his family for the weekend.

He had left home at about 15:00 hrs with his wife and a group of friends for an East Bank destination. About two hours after he was dead.

Police said the driver of the  motorcar is in custody at the Timehri Police Station, pending investigations.
Denny, a policeman for about 10 years, has a 17-year-old daughter who resides in Antigua.
