THE 2010 Winter Games in Vancouver would’ve already been completed this past weekend but I did not see any TV station in Guyana bringing these games to the public. Could anyone say why this was so? I did see a few reports in the newspapers but coverage was minimal and sparse there, too. If so much emphasis, hype and coverage are placed on the Summer Olympic Games every four years, then I believe it must be just as fair that the winter equivalent of these games be covered just the same way by our local media.
