Benn takes hat-trick as PSC
and GCC record victories
-Singh hits third ton for GCC

At the Demerara Cricket Club (DCC) ground, Vishal Singh who like Benn was axed from the team for the last two matches became the third centurion for Georgetown Cricket Club (GCC) who defeated the Guyana National Industrial Corporation (GNIC) by an innings and 193 runs.

Sookdeo missed out on a big score on a pitch that was conducive for batting, when he fell for 48 made off 111 balls with seven fours, adding 102 for the fourth wicket with Singh in the process.
The burly Tyrell Tull also chipped in with a 20 ball 26 which was decorated with five fours, while Delroy Charles was the best bowler on show for GNIC, scalping 3-56 from 12 overs of controlled medium pace.
Needing to score a mammoth 328 to make their opponents bat a second time, GNIC got a rampant start from Marvin Fitzalbert who struck fast bowler Winston Nelson (2-37) for a four and a maximum over backward square leg in the first over.
But he was wrongfully adjudged run out at the non-strikers end when the ball was approximately six inches away from fast bowler Kevin Ogle (2-13), following an audacious straight drive back along the pitch from Charles (12).
