CATTLE farmer Michael Totaram, of Adelphi, East Canje will know his fate today when he makes another appearance before Magistrate Adela Nagamootoo on a drug possession charge. The defendant, who claims to be a first offender, pleaded guilty to the offence last week Thursday and begged for mercy but was remanded to prison to await sentencing.
He had been found with a quarter gramme of cocaine when searched by Police ranks who had arrested him during investigation of a burglary.
