IS Freddie Kissoon suffering from paranoid schizophrenia? In his December 28 diatribe in Kaieteur News, he wrote about “libellous, scandalous, nasty, dirty attacks on critics of the Guyana Government” in the Guyana Times. He said Guyana Times “went down the gutter level of bringing in the wives of people in their pursuit of vilifying those who criticise the President.” He also mentioned “obscene letters” in reference to the Guyana Chronicle.

Isn’t this the same Kissoon who drags other people’s wives into his endless tirades of abuse against the PPP and the Guyana Government?

Look at what he wrote in the Kaieteur News on December 17: “On three occasions, the wife of a Minister of Government told me she disagrees with the way the leaders of government run Guyana. She felt that many things are just plain wrong. One Minister’s child told me that she certainly doesn’t admire her father’s government.”

Recently, there was a report that President Jagdeo has been nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize. Predictably, Freddie Kissoon jumped high and low as if fire was under his pants. But, did he have to drag President Jagdeo’s ex-wife into his cesspool of revilement?

Look at what he wrote in the same Kaieteur News on December 6: “As soon as he gets the Nobel, all, I repeat, all the powerful media houses in the entire world will begin research on Jagdeo … For starters the London tabloids are going to literally crucify the President. They will interview Varshnie Singh and run her accusations against Mr. Jagdeo.”

Lest we forget, it’s not the first time Kissoon has exploited the name of President Jagdeo’s ex-wife in his rancorous rantings against the government and ruling party.

Now, just because someone expressed concern in the press that Kissoon’s wife holds a sensitive government position while he carries on with his hysterics and raving, the ugly reeking sleazeball of a columnist is beating his breast and whining “libellous, scandalous, nasty, dirty attacks.”
