DM Sales Beauty World is back in business

After devastating fire…
– promises much for the Xmas shopping season
AFTER a period of temporary closure, DM Sales Beauty World – Wholesale Distributors and retailers of top of the line hair care and beauty products, razed by fire at lot 142 Regent Road, Bourda on October 9, is back in business and promises much for the Christmas shopping season.

DM Sales Beauty World picks up steam as staffers at the facility prepare to make a big come back this week.

This is according to Managing Director, Mukesh Daby, exclusive distributor for Sacha products in Guyana.

The business also markets cosmetics and other hair care products such as Motions; St. Ives, TRESemme, Dr Miracle, Lustasilk and much more.

Until October 9, when razed, DM Sales maintained a reputation for being able to supply their customers reliably and without prejudice, but the main problem affecting an earlier restart of business was the difficulty in accessing a building.

However, with a spirit of resilience, and the determination to continue to serve his customers, many of whom are owners of hair dressing salons and beauty parlours, after receiving the ‘go ahead’ from his insurance company to commence rebuilding, DM Sales immediately started working towards reopening for the Christmas holidays.

In order to facilitate an early start, on time for the Christmas shopping season,

a roof was added, and some cosmetic works done to the remaining, but badly gutted bottom flat of the two-story building out of which the business previously operated.

That done, the building is now ready to accommodate a large shipment of Sacha products recently offloaded and waiting to be displayed on the shelves.

When the Guyana Chronicle visited the store a few days ago, the dedicated staff of nine were working feverishly, at making the shelves and showcases ready for a December 1 date line, but already the facility was abuzz as customers, eager to zero in on the fresh stocks of beauty care products, spared no time in getting down to the store.

For Daby, eminently concerned about being able to maintain a long-standing business relationship, built on trust with his customers at home, as well as his business associates overseas, is a relief.

To all his customers and all those have rallied around him in his time of distress, Mr. Mukesh Daby has expressed sincere gratitude. “I wish to assure the shopping public, and particularly the owners of those salons and beauty parlours who depend on us for their supplies, that we are now back in the business and look forward to our continued patronage,” Daby said gratefully.

DM Sales has been in the beauty care business for the last eight years, and developed an efficient and reliable business relationship with customers spread across Guyana. Until the October 9 conflagration which robbed the company of millions of dollars worth of movable and immovable assets, the thriving consumer oriented business had an unbroken record of being able to deliver quality products to meet the needs of the customer.
