THE Disabled Peoples Network (DPN) is collaborating with the Community Based Rehabilitation (CBR) Programme to stage an awareness march on December 5.
It will be in observance of International Day for Persons with Disabilities on December 3.
Chairman of the DPN Essequibo Chapter, Mr. Seedat Katwaroo said the procession will start from Middlesex at 07:00 h and end at Supenaam on Essequibo Coast.
The activity is themed ‘Realising the MDG (Millennium Development Goals) for all: Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities and their communities around the world’.
