TERRENCE Thomas, 21, was refused bail and remanded to prison yesterday on a charge of using threatening language to his sister, Alexis Alder.
Before Acting Chief Magistrate Melissa Robertson, he pleaded not guilty to the offence, particulars of which said it was committed on June 22.
The defendant (no address given) told the Court he was cooking in the yard where they live and his sibling stopped him.
He admitted becoming annoyed and telling her “that is why people does kill.”
The magistrate summoned the parties to the Bench and, after a discussion, ordered a probation report into the matter for July 10.
