THE Muslim Youth League of Guyana (MYL), The Guyana United Sadr Islamic Anjuman (SADR) and the Anna Catherina Islamic Complex (ACIC)on behalf of their executives and members, extends deepest sympathy to the relatives , friends, and to the People’s Progressive Party / Civic (PPP/C) on the passing of the Former President of Guyana, Mrs. Janet Jagan, O.E.

The organisations join others in expressing our profound sadness at the passing of this true patriot of the land, one who had committed the greater portion of her life towards the struggles of the Guyanese people. All Guyanese have been beneficiaries of the unwavering struggles of this beacon for democracy and while we mourn the loss of this fighter for women rights, we must endeavor to ensure that the things she so valiantly fought for must remain with our nation.
