Boots sale fraud gets restitution opportunity

ANTHONY Williams, 42, who pleaded guilty to fraudulent conversion yesterday was given until today to make restitution.

Acting Chief Magistrate Melissa Robertson-Ogle gave him the opportunity, at his request, after Williams (no address given) admitted that, last January 22, being entrusted with three pairs of boots to sell and return $21,000 to Fay Ann Morris, he fraudulently converted the money to his own use.
