Anyone living in Georgetown for the last decade would have always seen a city with garbage all over in heaps, pot holes on roads, stray animals, dilapidated buildings posing threats to people lives, clogged drains and vagrants wandering all over the city.

While Green has been complaining about the shortage of money to carry out works in the city, citizens owe the city council hundred of millions of dollars and no effort is being made to collect their monies.

Mayor Green, having been in office for so long, should do the right thing and resign. He should give some one else a chance to see if he/she could pull the city out of its mountain of problems. Green lacks vision, proper planning and implementation of programme to better Georgetown.
