A MAN was injured in an Old Year’s Night drive-by shooting, after a row over drugs with another.

Kelvin Barker, 31, is now a patient at Georgetown Public Hospital (GPH) nursing a wound on his right foot.

Police said the incident occurred in Hardina Street, Wortmanville, in the same city ward where Barker was standing when the shooter drove up, with two other men in a motor car, from which he fired at the victim and continued driving.

A Police release said investigations into the 23:15h crime revealed that Barker and his attacker had been in an argument about narcotics earlier that evening. (Delana Isles)
