EIGHT lucky New Year babies received Teddies hampers last Thursday, part of an annual exercise over the past ten years.

According to a press release, seven New Year’s babies received gifts at the Georgetown Public Hospital, and one at the Medical Arts Hospital.

At the Georgetown Hospital, the first New Year baby was born to Sharmina Hubbard of La Penitence who gave birth to a beautiful baby girl at 0:59h, while Takisha Schultz of Laing Avenue and Arlene Leacock of East Ruimveldt both delivered their baby boys at 1:13h.

These joyful mothers each received a month’s supply of Teddies Diapers, Teddies wipes, bags and growth and development chart.

The other mothers who delivered New Year babies were: Slikaidai Pooran who delivered a boy; Kamla Ghanie, a girl; Kishmattie Seerichand, a boy and; Terry Ann Pyle, a girl.

These mothers each received smaller hampers which contained a pack of Teddies newborn, Teddies wipes, and a bag as well as growth and development charts.

At Medical Arts, Carletta Agard gave birth to a handsome baby boy at 7:10h and her huge hamper included a month’s supply of Teddies diapers, Teddies wipes, bag and growth and development chart.

Teddies Diaper is distributed by Marketing and Distribution – a member of the Neal and Massy Group of Companies and has presented over fifty hampers to New Year babies and other mothers in the post-natal wards at the GPH, Medical Arts and Woodlands Hospitals.
